The street calls again

Easter Monday, 1 pm. The set-up for the first street culture event of the season has begun and there is already a lot of activity. Bright sunshine greets us in Regensburg in front of the new Jahn Stadium. While some are still setting up, many are already walking through the parked cars before the start and marvelling at the different design variations.

When the starting signal is given at 4 p.m., it doesn't take long and the entire event area is full. Visitors line up one after the other. Attracted by the first real spring day of the year, they marvel at unusual designs ranging from bodywork and wheel rims to redesigned engine interiors. Well-known brands also do the honours and present products and their own cars to the expectant tuning fans.

FOLIATEC.com presents its new Hard Rock Liner in grey, How Deep lives up to its name and shows how hardly a finger fits between the bodywork and the floor, and other manufacturers also show their innovations and strengths.

The creations of the VIP exhibitors are particularly exciting. Unique rim designs culminate in unusual spoilers that are hard to beat in terms of size. Creative foiling, old-school classics, exhaust sounds from loud to very loud - there is something for every taste.

While touching the cars is less welcome, it is almost a duty at the FOLIATEC.com stand. The GTI on display shines in the sun and clearly shows its characteristic nature. It quickly becomes a rallying point for passers-by who at least want to photograph it, or better still, touch it.

The organisers have also taken care of the physical well-being. While last season it was food trucks that caused a stir, this time there are more down-to-earth dishes. For the more relaxed guests, there is a chill-out area directly opposite with beach chairs and shisha. The day ended with the award ceremony for the best tuning vehicle.

Conclusion: There is something for everyone. The visitors range from young to old, from tuners to fans. The atmosphere was okay, but not comparable to a stadium. The weather contributed significantly to the success of the event. We are already looking forward to the next Streetculture event and are curious to see what designs there will be to admire then.
