Configure your custom-fit window film for your vehicle now

* If your vehicle is not yet listed in our configurator, please send us an email at support@foliatec.de, call our toll-free hotline at +49 (0)911 975440, or contact our WhatsApp support at +49 (0)1525/9151515. We will then request your desired film from our production team for you.

You can get our high-quality FOLIATEC.com window films not only as universal, individually cut-to-size film by the meter, but also as a PROSHAPE complete set, 3D pre-cut precisely to fit your specific vehicle model. These automotive window tint films provide heat and sun protection and are available in many colors and light transmission levels. Simply select your car model and desired film in our PROSHAPE configurator and then order your individually tailored film set.

Each set always includes all films from the B-pillar backwards (exceptions apply to plastic windows).

Custom-Made Craftsmanship

We cut the selected film using computer-aided technology for your vehicle and shape it by hand in 3D directly on an original window of your vehicle type.

Easy Installation

This results in a precisely fitting 3D film set – unlike universal films – allowing for wrinkle- and bubble-free self-installation, even on curved windows, with ease.

The Original from FOLIATEC

Not all films are created equal. Our automotive window films are made using a kind of "sandwich construction." High-quality materials with different functions are combined into one unit. It is only through this complex process that the films provide comprehensive protection, durability, and excellent processing characteristics.

Pay attention to the trademarks listed below. They are a guarantee of high product quality, protection, safety, and striking style. Every PROSHAPE set comes with an ABG certification. Keep it with your vehicle documents.

Which Window Tint Film Is Best for Me?

Our window tint films offer the highest level of design and comfort. Depending on your preferences regarding appearance and functionality, our PROSHAPE program includes a total of 12 different film variants.

Window Tint Films

With our classic window tint films from the MIDNIGHT series (blue-black tint) and the BLACKNIGHT series (black tint), we’ve placed a strong focus on appealing aesthetics. Both models are available in “Light,” “Dark,” and “Superdark” variants. The light transmission varies between 35%, 15%, and 5% respectively.

Heat Protection Films

If you're looking for more than just basic heat protection, our heat protection films MIDNIGHT REFLEX (blue-black tint) and BLACKNIGHT REFLEX (black tint) are the ideal choice. These are also available in our three levels: “Light,” “Dark,” and “Superdark.” Especially in summer, the heat protection pays off quickly. Depending on the model, heat rejection reaches 50% or 55%, offering the highest level of thermal protection for vehicle occupants. The interior temperature is lowered by several degrees Celsius, resulting in a noticeably cooler cabin. Additionally, these tint films provide excellent privacy from the outside.

If you'd like a stylish sun visor strip for your windshield in addition to your PROSHAPE complete set, we recommend our visor strip, which can be individually cut to fit all vehicle types.

Are window tint films legal on cars?
FOLIATEC.com window tint films are officially approved, come with ABG certification, and are exempt from registration from the B-pillar backwards.

What percentage of tint is allowed on car windows?
The rear side windows and rear windshield can be tinted up to 100% without registration. On the front side windows, only a clear safety film – such as our SECURLUX film – with a light transmission of 70% and certification by an authorized technical inspector (e.g., TÜV) is permitted.

Which windows can be tinted on a car?
Tinting is allowed without registration on the rear windshield and the side windows from the B-pillar backwards.

Which window tint film is easy to apply?
We recommend using multilayer films for easier handling. If the film is also 3D pre-cut to fit, self-installation is quick and simple.

What liquid should I use to apply the window tint film?
We recommend using the included cleaning and installation concentrate mixed with distilled water for tinting your windows.

Which tint film should I choose for my car?
Depending on your preference, you can choose a blue-black or black tint in light, dark, or very dark shades. If you value additional heat protection, FOLIATEC.com window films are also available in all color combinations with heat rejection of up to 55%.

What should I be aware of after tinting my windows?
For the first seven days, avoid using the rear window defroster or operating the window regulators. Also, do not clean the inside of the windows. Press the film down again along the dotted edge of the window using a plastic squeegee or your fingernail during the following days.

How do I clean tinted car windows?
Tinted car windows should be cleaned with lukewarm water, mild soap solution, and a sponge cloth, then dried with paper towels.

When do I need to remove the window tint film?
Our films are long-lasting and generally only need to be removed if you want a different tint.

How do I remove window tint film?
If you're in a hurry, warm the film with a hairdryer and slowly peel it off without tearing. Alternatively, here’s our pro tip: Spray the tinted window with a standard glass cleaner, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it sit overnight. The next day, you should be able to peel off the film with ease. If any adhesive residue remains, we recommend our special adhesive remover.
