FOLIATEC®.com shows cool DIY products "around the wheel" at automechanika
Vehicle tuning has long since become part of popular culture - but only very few people dare to undertake extensive conversion work. "Accessible tuning" is therefore the name of a focal point in FOLIATEC®.com's extensive product range, which is likely to be well received by the trade and motorists alike. At automechanika 2018, from 11 to 15 September, the Nuremberg-based company will be dedicating itself to the product world "around the wheel". Thematically, stand A10 in Hall 12.1 is thus also a perfect complement to REIFEN, which is taking place in Frankfurt at the same time.
With the brake caliper lacquer, the programme includes a classic that is in top form: Ever larger light-alloy wheels and brake systems give the easy-to-apply product perfect exposure. There are now 25 different colours in the range, creating the perfect contrast to any wheel rim. The extremely heat-, chemical-, corrosion- and oil-resistant product is extremely durable and can be applied precisely with a brush without removing parts.
Particularly striking effects can be achieved through the additional use of FOLIATEC®.com spray film. The DIY product, which is now available in 28 different colours, is virtually predestined for use on the bike: whether glossy, matt, metallic, neon or as transparent protection. The spray film has already proven its durability at two Youngtimer rallies in 2018. With the additional "colour thrill", even monotonous or older rims develop showstopper qualities. Everyone likes to do it themselves, because the application is extremely easy and the coating can be removed at any time without leaving any residue.
Still not flashy enough or want another option? There's no quicker way to tune your own wheels than with the LugNuzzCoverns, even in a web configurator. With just one "click", "ordinary" wheel bolts are visually transformed into cool studs, as they are popular in the racing and drift scene. A total of six attractive colours are available. High-performance neodymium magnets hold the high-quality UV-anodised LugNuzzCover securely in place, even at 250 km/h. Thanks to the enclosed certificate, their use is registration-free.
Now that you've got a taste for it, you'll find plenty of other clever ideas in the extensive product range: even for redesigning entire cars. As a little inspiration, FOLIATEC®.com is exhibiting a VW Amarok at the Frankfurt fairgrounds that has been completely coated with the innovative Hard Rock Liner. The developers took their inspiration for this sensational product from so-called bedliners - high-strength coatings for the protection of pick-up loading areas. The Hard Rock Liner is available in a "permanent" and a "removable" version. The standard colours are black and grey. A brand new addition to the programme are customised shades.
