Once the desired body colour has been found, the redesign of the vehicle can begin. First, all surfaces that are not to be coated are covered. The use of FOLIATEC®.com masking tapes makes this work easier: special adhesive tape with very good adhesion for universal use, Fine Line Tape for long straight lines or in a highly flexible version for curves and detail work as well as the Easy Up Tape for loosening and fixing seals.
Then the specially developed car body Spray Film Pre-Cleaner is used, which removes grease and oily residues and optimally prepares the paint for the subsequent filming: Spray on all over the surface and wipe off with the FOLIATEC®.com cleaning cloths. While the special structure of the waffle microfibre cloth is ideal for absorbing grease, dirt and water, the dusting cloth leaves no chance for lint and adhesive residues. All accessory quality products from FOLIATEC®.com are characterised by good paint compatibility and have been developed for design and multi-colour paintwork.
