Since 2005, TUNE IT! SAFE! has been campaigning for safe tuning. Partners are, for example, the Federal Ministry of Transport, the Association of Automobile Tuners (VDAT), the NRW police and companies from the automotive industry such as FOLIATEC®.com. Just in time for the Essen Motor Show 2018 (1 to 9 December), the initiative will once again present a new campaign vehicle in police look in 2018. The current vehicle was once again co-designed by FOLIATEC®.com as well as other renowned companies from the tuning and automotive sector who are committed to serious, legal and high-quality vehicle refinement.
Which type of car will be unveiled at the start of the fair in Essen is still top secret. However, fans can be assured that it will once again be an absolute eye-catcher. And the bar is set high here, as the more recent campaign vehicles prove. For example, a BMW X4, a Corvette C7, a Ford Mustang and most recently a VW Golf R. FOLIATEC®.com can already reveal this much: This time it will be a real high-flyer that could be seen in police services even in Dubai, where numerous expensive sports car icons are part of the fleet.
A big difference to the patrol cars in the desert state, however, is the characteristic blue vehicle livery, which complies with police specifications down to the last detail. FOLIATEC®.com was again responsible for the precise implementation. With the product SECURLUX safety film, the specialists from Nuremberg also show that their products offer a lot of potential not only in terms of appearance. In this specific case, the side windows are protected against violence and splintering of the glass is prevented. This also significantly reduces the risk of injury in the event of an accident.
One thing is certain in any case: the campaign vehicles of TUNE IT! SAFE! campaign vehicles are probably the only patrol cars that tuning fans will always enjoy seeing. However, if you carry out your conversion work correctly and with approved components, you can also face an encounter with the real law enforcement officers calmly.
