Cover all surfaces that are not to be coated. For this purpose, please use a suitable masking paper and solvent-resistant coating tape (no masking tape!). Make sure that the tape and the surface to be coated do not touch each other.
Clean the surface to be sprayed including its edges, dry and degrease with silicone remover.
After cleaning, remove any remaining dust with a dust-binding cloth.
For a sufficient layer thickness, apply the FOLIATEC.com car body spray film in 3 thick layers at medium speed. Use a 2 - 2.5 mm spray nozzle with 3 - 5 bar pressure in an appropriate paint booth.
Hints:
Use FOLIATEC.com thinner with max. 10% for fine adjustment of the spray pattern. Allow to flash off for 10 minutes after each spraying cycle. The distance to the object should be approx. 25 cm. Always hold the spray gun at a 90° angle to the surface. Spray the edges of the car body with each spray pass. Always coat large areas in the same spray pass to achieve an even color result. Carefully remove masking material directly after the last spray pass. In the case of light-colored vehicle paints, we recommend applying the first coat of FOLIATEC.com Body Spray Film transparent. Do not use on public roads and squares.
After 60 minutes, the FOLIATEC.com body spray film is dust-dry and must cure for a total of approx. 24 hours at constant temperature.
Care: Clean the FOLIATEC.com body spray film with a soft sponge and car shampoo. Dab off any dripping petrol immediately and allow to flash off (do not wipe off!).
Lift the film at one edge and pull it off. To remove film residues in hard-to-reach places, we recommend using a steam jet. Please peel off no earlier than 48 hours after application. After the complete removal of the FOLIATEC.com body spray film, we recommend to clean the vehicle completely with shampoo and sponge!
