Window film installed on car glas may have specific use restrictions in your country. Please check your local state law.

Useful tools:

Spray bottle, distilled water + dishwashing liquid (ph neutral, = application liquid), glass cleaner (only necessary for removal of nicotine residue, etc.), hair dryer, lint-free cloth
You should also know:
• The ideal temperature for working with UC Glass Coating Film is between 15°C and 25°C.Work in an area protected from wind and dust, without direct sunlight and, ideally, in an enclosed area.
• Film’s function will not be affected by using the defroster.
• Apply the film only to the inside of the glass and only to real glass. Synthetic glass (acrylic, plexi, etc.) contains special softeners that, as a result of temperature (heat) or UV radiation, are released in the form of air bubbles. These bubbles can only escape through the AutoglassFilm to a limited extent and this can affect, amongst other things, adhesion and service life.
•You cut the film to size on the outside and apply it the inside of the window.
• Third brakelights must not be covered with AutoglassFilm. Make sure to cut the AutoglassFilm to size accordingly prior to installation.

Mounting
1) Spray the inside and outside of the glass to be covered using the cleaning/application liquid. With a cloth clean the glass, the rubber seal and the frames of all the windows.
2) Cut the film according to the dimensions of the window with something appropriate underneath. The film should have between 1-2 cm extra left around the edges for the application to the glass (see ).The film must have the protective backing facing you because it will be applied to the inside of the window later.Tip:The protective film is facing you when the ABG number stamp can be read.
3) Spray the outside of the window you are beginning with using the cleaning/ application liquid. After the film has been cut take it in hand with the protective backing facing you. Spread the film out with your hands and place the film on the wet exterior of the window. Do not remove the protective bakking!
Spray the film again with application/cleaning liquid and then use the squeegee to wipe away the liquid.
4) Neatly cut the overlapping edges of the film away following the seal. For the best results cut along straight lines with a ruler. A single piece of film is advantageous in the application on the slightly cambered rear window, this serves to avoid possible damage to the defogging wires.
5) Carefully pull up a corner of the film lying on the outside of the windshield. Put two pieces of adhesive tape (masking tape for example) on the inside and outside of the upper corner of the film and using these as handles slowly pull the backing away from the film (see ). When removing the protective film, also spray the adhesive layer of the AutoglassFilm generously with the application liquid. This prevents the film from sticking together and thus creasing. Immediately after the removal of the bakking, spray the adhesive side of the film (facing outwards) to create an even layer of moisture (see ).This is the side of the film that will be attached to the window in the next step.
6) Take hold of the wet film by the corners. Keep some tension on the film so that no two parts come in contact and stick. Carefully take the film into the vehicle and position the film on the window with the wet side of the film on the inside of the window (which is also wet) (see. ).The film will draw itself onto the glass. If it is not possible to fit the film to the window without wrinkles, it will be necessary to slice the film about 1 cm under the defrost coil closest to the wrinkle. Now lap the lower part of the film over the upper piece. This must be repeated up to five times depending on the degree of the curve. After the last slice is finished you can cut the extra border on the bottom of the film to fit the frame. Applying the film on the inside of a curved window: When you have cut multiple slices in the film, you start back at the upper slice. To remove the overlaps in the film cut through the middle of the overlap parallel to the heating coil. When you have finished cutting through the stripe, remove the excess strips from the window.
7) Squeeze off the moisture (see ). The moisture will flow towards the lower window seal as you work. Use a cotton cloth to absorb this. If you wrap the squeegee in the cotton cloth, you can get the water around the frame very well. Use a hair dryer to dry this area as the last step.

NOTE:
This film dries without residue within a few days.
CARE:
• Do not roll down windows with film coating for the first 7 days.
• Do not clean the inside of windows with film coating for the first 7 days, do not activate window defogger or heater.
• Only use clear water to clean the car window films (without cleaning additives) and a soft cloth (do not use cleaning sponges).
