Caution: To avoid electrical shocks and injuries during installation it is essential to disconnect the ground cable (negative pole) from the battery of the vehicle.

1) Select a suitable location. The must be free of dirt and grease.
Remove the protective foil of the adhesive pads and apply the SMD FlexStripes by pressing firmly.
Please note: Do not attach the adhesive pads to leather, fabric or wood. If the adhesive strength of the adhesive pads is insufficient, then the stripes can be attached with silicon for example.
2) Run the power cable (clear (–), clear/white (+)). Important: keep the cable away from heat sources (heater etc.). Note the remaining length of the cable so that the cable is run free of tension. (The cables should be placed so that they cannot fray or break!)
3) Connection (power supply) over fuse box (terminal 15/30) or vehicle battery. We recommend interconnecting a suitable On/Off switch (e.g. FOLIATEC KILL-Switch).

Safety precautions: Reverse battery connection, improper installation, manipulation of components, etc. can constitute a danger and will void any and all warranty claims. Mount at a protected location so that damages through external influence such as foot contact when entering the vehicle are avoided. Check the SMD FlexStripes to assure a secure fit as well as the electrical connections on a regular basis. Take special care that none of the cables are pinched or buckled and are protected from chafing or breakage. To avoid an interruption of the contacts (failure of function), the SMDFlexStripes must not be buckled.
