Note: Read the instructions carefully prior to installation. Allow sufficient time for installation. The ideal installation temperature is between 15 and 25 °C (60 and 78 °F).

The stickers consist of 3 components: Adhesive foil, base paper, transfer paper.

The decors can be adhesively applied wet or dry. Wet application has the advantage that you can still slide the sticker around for some time after placement.

Wet application

You also need: Tape, water spray bottle, water (distilled water is recommended), ph-neutral detergent, silicon remover, cotton cloth (free of fuzz), measuring tape, foil marker, hairdryer.

1) The application surface must be free of dust, dirt and grease. Remove cleaning agent residue if necessary (e.g. with silicon remover). The vehicle may not be freshly waxed or polished!

2) Fit the décor individually; use a measuring tape as needed. Mark the perimeter points with adhesive tape.

3) Moisten the application surface with a mixture of detergent and water (1/2 liter water, 10 drops detergent), moisten only, do not wet down. Fixate the décor with adhesive tape. Outline the décor as needed to assist in application. Partial application of the foil design in several segments (several work processes) is recommended for very large foil designs or for application on difficult surfaces. Make sure not to cut into the foil design. Carefully pull off the protective foil on the adhesive side of the foil design. Now, again moisten the adhesive side of the décor (the surface may only be moist, but not wet) and place and position the foil design. (For large surface areas, work in two application processes by pulling off only half of the protective foil and then cutting it off - if possible have someone assist you). CAUTION: It is possible that small segments of the foil design remain stuck on the protective foil. In this case, press the segment with the fingernail onto the application foil. Carefully cut out areas around locks, emblems, trim moulding etc. with a cutting knife. Tape over door fold and similar grooves.

4) Wrap the included application squeegee in a cotton cloth. Use the squeegee to press out the moisture underneath the foil design. Important: Squeegee in only one direction applying firm pressure along the edges.

5) Now pull off the transition paper at a flat 180° angle. If the foil should not come off, repeat application process 4 and if necessary accelerate the drying process using a hairdryer. If there are bubbles underneath the foil, use a pin to prick a hole in the side of the bubble and push the air out from the other side. Please note that the bonding agent of the foil design first reaches optimum adhesion after approximately 24 hours. Apply firm pressure to the edges.

6) If the adhesive foil design is placed over door or trunk grooves etc. cut along the middle of the groove. Heat up the protruding edges with a hairdryer and fold them over the door / trunk edges

Note: The adhesive foil design achieves full adhesive strength after approximately 24 hours. Work the surface after this time with the squeegee if necessary. Do not use a car wash or wax and polish the vehicle for approximately 3 to 5 days. As a rule, make sure that car polish does not come in contact with the foil design. This will ensure that you will enjoy the design for a long time. If, however, you should ever wish to remove the foil design, simply heat it up with a hairdryer and pull it off. Adhesive residue can be wiped off with silicon remover for example.

Dry application (only for professionals)
(a correction / positioning of the adhesive foil during application is not possible)

You also need: Adhesive tape, silicon remover, cotton cloth

1) The application surface must be free of dust, dirt and grease. Remove cleaning agent residue if necessary (for example with silicon remover). The vehicle may not be freshly waxed or polished!

2) Make sure that the adhesive foil fits on the desired surface.

3) Fixate the foil design with an adhesive tape. Use a strip of adhesive tape to secure the foil design at the center on the top and on the bottom. Outline the décor as needed to assist in application. Partial application of the foil design in several segments is recommended for very large foil designs or for application on difficult surfaces. Make sure not to cut into the lettering or graphics. Pull off the protective foil from the adhesive side of the foil design üp to the first adhesive strip. Begin at one of the top corners and slowly pull off the protective foil at a diagonal angle to the opposite lower corner. Use a soft cotton cloth to apply even pressure on the adhesive foil design while pulling off the protective foil and covering the application surface. CAUTION: It is possible that small segments of the foil design remain stuck on the protective foil. In this case, press the segment with the fingernail onto the application foil. Remove the positioning tape and proceed the same starting from the other side of the foil design. Carefully cut out areas around locks, emblems, trim moulding, door edges etc. with a cutting knife. Tape over door fold and similar grooves.

4) Now pull off the transition paper at a flat 180° angle. If there are bubbles underneath the foil, use a pin to prick a hole in the side of the bubble and push the air out from the other side. Please note that the bonding agent of the foil design first reaches optimum adhesion after approximately 24 hours. Apply firm pressure to the edges.

Please note: We recommend that persons who are not skilled with crafts have the foil design applied by a qualified workshop (e.g. FOLIATEC Stylingteam station).
