Thanks to the special construction, FAMILY-PROTECT FILM reduces the danger of injury from glass splinters in an accident, guards against break-ins and has a 99 percent UV filter in comparison to standard car windows. The exceptional properties of FAMILY-PROTECT FILM are achieved through the multi-layer construction. Up to three polyester films bonded with clear laminate adhesive make the FAMILY-PROTECT FILM extremely resistant to impact and breaking. A scratch resistant coating protects the film from scratches. A pressure sensitive mounting adhesive bonds the window pane and the FAMILY-PROTECT FILM safety film, which then protects from glass splinters like a laminated windshield.
