Do the rear lights have to be removed before painting with plastic tinting spray?

The Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (STVZO) do not allow subsequent coloration (tinting) of rear lights (please also observe regional regulations here). The plastic parts to be sprayed must be removed before cleaning (with silicon remover) and painting (at an outside temperature over 15°C). Removal avoids the danger of cracks due to surface tension.

We accept no responsibility for the above information.

Can plastic tinting spray be removed again?

Can plastic tinting spray be removed again?

Please use the special remover solution (Art. No. 2150) to remove plastic tinting spray. For this the parts to be cleaned should be removed again (surface tension).

We accept no responsibility for the above information.
