FOLIATEC® PROSHAPE®-PaintProtectionFilm, is a vehicle-specific cut, computer cutted, transparent, colorless, self-adhesive high-performance film.
The film reliably protects the lacquer surface of specially exposed vehicle parts (tank area, frontal covering, etc..) from falling rocks and scratches.

An innovative protective coat for vehicle parts at risk: rear bumper, bonnet, door sills, door locks and side spoilers. FOLIATEC® PAINT protection film prevents unsightly scratches and damage caused by stones and insects.
The PAINT protection film features a weather- and UV-resistant acrylate adhesive. This is a highly transparent acrylate adhesive which even after 3 years will leave hardly any residue when it is removed.
PAINT protection films are car wash-safe. Thanks to UV additives, the film will not yellow or crack.

Protection by elasticity

As you can see on the upper picture on the left side, the PU film is very viscoplastic. A very high pressure is needed to destroy the film - even with a regular key. The lacquer of your vehicle is sealed perfectly with the PaintProtecionFilm and therefore protected ideal against different effects. The upper right picture shows the enormously elongation of the PU film. This film can get stretched more than the double of its length without getting damaged. That guarantees special mounting advantages for you, in particular on arced surfaces!

The PU film is an extremely flexible and stretchable PAINT protection film which is highly adaptive. Thanks to its physical stretchability of almost 400% it is excellently suited to 3D application. This allows for application on very complex contours, for example on round and curved surfaces such as mirrors, mudguards/wheel coverings, tanks, casing. A further outstanding feature of the PU film is its good covering properties when applying to edges and corners, also as protection for loading edges and door entrance edges. The paint of your vehicle is protected best and therewith protected very well from different impacts.

Film construction and quality features

FOLIATEC® PROSHAPE®-PAINT protection film has profitable properties, that usual transparent films do not have. This film is highly transparent and therefore nearly invisible through its complex manufacturing method. Additionally the film surface has a high gloss level whereby a very high-class paint optics is getting achieved Highly efficient UV absorber, which are embedded into the film, avoid a yellowing of the film. A high-quality acrylate adhesive layer connects the film permanently with the lacquer surface without corroding it. The extreme stretchability guarantees for a very easy mounting and at the same time for an extreme impact strength.
